Blossom Tree Children’s Nursery is homely, stimulating and child centred early years environment, supporting the learning and development of only 19 children in total. Our small nursery offers an exclusive learning experience for children aged 6 months - school age, following the Pre-Birth to Three and the Curriculum for Excellence.  

Blossom Tree provides the children with a wide range of curricular activities such as music and gym classes for children of all ages.  The staff also pride themselves on the outdoor activities planned, such as local walks to feed the horses at the Drum estate and regular trips to the local library.

Blossom Tree has a committed and consistent staff team, including 3 key staff who all hold degrees in Early Years Practice and Primary Teaching, 2 fully qualified Nursery Practitioners and 3 Supporting Staff who are working towards their early years qualifications.

At Blossom Tree we understand that it is crucial to support, nurture and value each child, as well as have strong participation links and excellent communication with the child, their family and the dedicated staff within the Nursery, as well as any other supporting agencies in the community. We make regular visits to the Library taking part in reading, storytelling and other events that they hold for children. We also have regular outings to local places of interest such as the farm and woodland walks.

We encourage autonomous play, both within the carefully created nursery rooms, and in the fully enclosed, natural garden environment which includes a vegetable patch, climbing frame and play house.
